Epix Greenlights New Sci-Fi Horror Series ‘From’

April 13, 2021

Premium cable network Epix announced on Monday that they have given From, a contemporary sci-fi horror series from creator John Griffin, a 10-episode straight-to-series order.

The series will unravel the mystery of a nightmarish town in middle America that traps all those who enter. As the unwilling residents fight to keep a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest – including the terrifying creatures that come out when the sun goes down.

From will be a co-production between Epix Studios and MGM International Television Productions. Production is slated to begin in May, with a premiere on Epix tentatively set for 2022.

Michael Wright, President at Epix and recently appointed President of MGM Scripted Television, commented that "We’re thrilled to be working with John Griffin and this talented creative team to bring the series to our audience... From will deliver suspense, terror and cliffhanger moments, all while telling a truly engaging story with rich characters."
