Streaming Services Crash Oscars, Amazon Takes Three Coveted Awards

Streaming Services have become ubiquitous in everyday life, something that the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences gave a nod to last night at the 89th Academy Awards. Amazon acquired one of the few things you can't buy on their marketplace website, walked away with three Oscars: Best Original Screenplay and Best Actor (Casey Affleck) for "Manchester By The Sea", as well as Best Foreign Language Film for "The Salesman". Now that streaming services are in the mix, Oscar season looks to be more competitive in the future.
